New guitar?

    I've never been that much of a guitar virtuoso, but if I had any instrument that looked half that awesome, I'm pretty sure I would be way more determined to master the art of playing the instrument.

    I say go for it. If you're going to play the instrument, might as well look damn good while doing it.

    dunno much about guitars but this looks unnecessary. I mean you can get an older and cheaper one and still enjoy using it.

    I'm pretty picky about upper fret access so generally I'm not too big on Les Paul style bodies. It's definitely an awesome guitar but playability comes before that imo.
